Xiao Ke Wan Introduction
Xiao Ke Wan, also known as "Xiao Ke Pills" or "Diabetes Pills," is a traditional Chinese herbal medicine used to support the management of diabetes and its associated symptoms. "Xiao Ke" translates to "wasting and thirsting," which are classic symptoms of diabetes in traditional Chinese medicine.
Xiaoke Wan is proved to be highly effective with small dosage and few side effect and is especially effective for incipient, mild moderate and stable cases of diabetes mellitus in which the pancreas is still partially functioning. Since its quality is stable and its effectiveness is definite, this preparation was awarded “Famous Trade Brand Product” by Guangdong Province in 1996.
Xiao Ke Wan is composed of a combination of various herbs carefully selected for their potential effects on regulating blood sugar levels, improving insulin sensitivity, and alleviating symptoms such as excessive thirst, frequent urination, and fatigue.
According to traditional Chinese medicine principles, Xiao Ke Wan is believed to work by tonifying the spleen and kidney, nourishing yin, and clearing heat. It aims to rebalance the body's energy and restore harmony to the organs involved in glucose metabolism.
TCM Function
Nourishes kidney-yin, benefits qi, promotes generation of body fluid.

At the same level of glibenclamide dose and glycemic control, the Xiaoke Pill had clearly demonstrated a reduced incidence and rate of hypoglycemia as compared with glibenclamide, suggesting that the TCM in the Xiaoke Pill had protective effects against hypoglycemia induced by glibenclamide.

Studies and Researches
